Janice Arsenault - Practice Manager
Hello, my name is Janice and my career in orthodontics began thirteen years ago as a receptionist. I have had the opportunity of learning many new and exciting aspects of orthodontic care and patient service along the way, which has formed the foundation for my present role as Practice Manager. As Practice Manager, I work closely with all the team members to keep our clinic organized and efficient; so that we may provide our patients with care ‘above and beyond’ their expectations. I truly love coming to work every day and have been lucky enough to also have a wonderful group of people to call friends and co-workers. Our days in the office can be busy and sometimes challenging, while always filled with laughter and smiles. What more could someone need! But, I think the best part about being a member of the “Smile Team” is the opportunity of watching the “Magic” that happens when the caring and professional skill of our doctor and team members combines with the energy and trust from our patients. When not in the office, I enjoy working in my garden and camping in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter. But most of all, my husband and I love to travel to sunny climates, where we enjoy walking, swimming and sightseeing. We have been blessed with two great children who, along with our golden retriever and calico cat, keep things busy and fun at home. :-)
Jodie Babkirk-Massoudi - Office Manager
The smile team welcomes you. My name is Jodie and I look forward to ensuring your experience is a pleasant one. Orthodontic needs are our primary concern at Dr. McManaman’s and I know you’ll love the fun and professional atmosphere here. My interest include: skiing, gardening and traveling but you’ll often find me walking my Great Dane around the city. I look forward to meeting you!
Krysta Savoy - Patient Service Coordinator
Hello, my name is Krysta. I am a Patient Service Coordinator and have been part of Dr. McManaman’s “Smile Team” since 2004. I have never found as much fulfillment in my years of employment as I have with this great team. As a group, I feel we truly have a significant impact on the lives of our patients. It is so rewarding to participate in the development of our patients new smiles and witness the often dramatic changes that occur in their self-confidence as treatment progresses. My passion is helping people on a daily basis, especially when you are rewarded with the opportunity to participate in the excitement of changing not only a person’s smile, but in a lot of cases, their quality of life as well! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My hobbies include going to the gym, watching movies and curling up with a great book. I also like to attend hockey games, participate in outdoor activities and eat the occasional cheeseburger. :-)
Nicole Robichaud-Hache - Patient Service Coordinator
Hello, my name is Nicole Robichaud-Hache and I have had the pleasure of being a member of Dr. McManaman's team since January of 2008. Being one of the newest members, the team has made me feel at ease since the very first day as they do to all of their clients. It is an absolute delight coming into work each day and meeting new people. Seeing bright new smiles every day and knowing the positive impact we have made on our clients is the most rewarding part of my job. Now a bit about myself - I am married and have 2 beautiful sons; Zachary who is 7, and Alexi who is 1. Being a mother keeps me quite busy, so with the little spare time I have, I enjoy cooking, gardening and just spending time outdoors.
Tanya Basque - Receptionist/Treatment
Coordinator
My name is Tanya; I have been a part of Dr. McManaman’s wonderful team since 2006. I am one of the receptionists and also perform duties as a treatment coordinator. I feel very lucky to be one of the first members of our team to welcome our great patients to our office. I am a people person and love meeting and getting to know our patients and their families. I strive on getting new and existing patients to smile and laugh from the second they walk in the door of our office, by making their visit fun and very comfortable, while providing them with a clear understanding of the treatment process. I find the entire experience of working with patients from beginning to end, totally fascinating. Seeing the changes in our patients’ smiles and personalities as their self-esteem grows, brings a smile to my face. I am always full of energy and like to ‘lighten up’ the atmosphere at work by playing practical jokes with team members and patients, so be aware. :-) When not at work, I am the outdoorsy type and especially love going to the beach and for long walks. I also enjoy reading, music of all kinds, and making people laugh! I am an animal lover, an avid gamer and I truly love meeting new people, so come on in and see us.
Renee Gosseling - Treatment Coordinator
Hello, my name is Renee and I am a Treatment Coordinator. I have been a part of this wonderful team since 2005. I love seeing all your smiles progress into a beautiful work of art and look forward to helping you make that happen with caring and instructive attention to all of our patients. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my young nieces and nephew, family and friends, and also taking care of my dog.
Josiane Blacquière – Treatment Coordinator
Hi my name is Josiane Blaquière. I graduated as a Level II dental assistant in 2006. I was very happy to join the docbraces team in there new office. I really enjoy helping others achieve a better smile. When I’m not working I like to spend time with friends and family and my chocolate lab ginger. Pam Haines - Orthodontic Hygienist
Hi, my name is Pam. I am a Dental Hygienist and have been a part of the docbraces team for four years and have worked in orthodontics for twenty-four years. I have truly enjoyed watching so many smiles unfold during this time. When I am not busy with our team, I enjoy reading, sewing and painting. My husband and two teenaged sons and I love to camp. Our busy household also includes two very friendly felines- “Sophie” and “Milie”.
Cynthia Doucet - Orthodontic Hygienist
Hello, my name is Cynthia and I am a Dental Hygienist and a member of the excellent “Smile Team”. I love coming to work and seeing the wonderful smiles of our patients. Orthodontics has always been a passion for me. Having had braces myself, it is easy for me to understand and relate to our patients. I truly enjoy seeing the wonderful changes that occur from one appointment to the next. My goal is to ensure that you are happy with the results that lead to your exceptional smile. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
Chantal Matthews - Orthodontic Assistant/Clinic Coordinator
Hi, my name is Chantal and I have been working with Dr. McManaman since 2004. I have always had a passion for orthodontics, having been a patient myself at the young age of thirteen which sparked my interest. I love coming to work and seeing all our patients and the ‘magical’ changes in their smiles. I have two beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband. In my spare time, I like to be with my family, ski, swim and read.
Wendy Hebert - Orthodontic Assistant
Hello, my name is Wendy and I am an Orthodontic Assistant. I am a member of the “Smile Team” and provide clinical support to other team members or work directly with our patients. I love being an Orthodontic Assistant, because through our work, we not only improve an individual’s physical appearance, but also see the improvement in their confidence and quality of life! Outside of work, my family is my number one focus. I love the outdoors and so if you don’t find me at work, I can usually be found camping, enjoying the beach or traveling with my family. I am a very outgoing person, whose goal is to make you happy! I love beautiful smiles!
Monique Corneau - Orthodontic Assistant
Hello my name is Monique and I am part of the “Smile Team”. I work as an Orthodontic Assistant as well as a lab technician. When I was a child, I did not want to smile because the alignment of my teeth was awful. However, witnessing the dramatic changes that occurred in my own smile and self-confidence from orthodontic treatment provided me with an incentive to pursue a job in this great specialty as I found the entire process so fascinating. I had dreamed of working in an orthodontic clinic since the time of my own treatment in elementary school and I am now thrilled to be part of Dr. McManaman’s team. I guess dreams can come true! I love working in an orthodontic clinic because it allows me to interact directly with all our fantastic patients, such as providing education as to how treatment will progress and what to expect during different stages; in addition, to providing constant education and feedback to patients as to their own responsibilities during the braces process. My goal as an orthodontic assistant is to provide each patient with individual attention and guidance in order to expedite their treatment and provide them with the utmost quality in smile aesthetics. Seeing the amazing accomplishments that occur on a daily basis, in each and every case, makes me want to get up in the morning and go to work! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. To relax, I enjoy reading a good book or doing cross stitch. Oh! And having lot’s of fun.
Rachel Oulton - Orthodontic Assistant
Hi, my name is Rachel and I am an Orthodontic Assistant and absolutely love being part of our great “Smile Team”! My role is to provide Dr. McManaman clinical support during your appointments, such as changing your wires and adjusting your braces. I will be a familiar face when you come in and always strive to make every patient visit a very comfortable, enjoyable, and of course - a fun experience. I respect and value open patient communication, as it establishes trust and a sense of well being for our patients. In addition, I take great pride in my work and strive to provide excellence so that you, as a dedicated patient, feel appreciated, informed and most importantly love your new smile! Outside of work, friends describe me as a very outgoing individual with somewhat of an artistic flair. I have a real passion for traveling and have even lived abroad. I truly believe smiles are universal and join us all, as one global community!
Tammy Coffin – Orthodontic Assistant
Hello there, my name is Tammy, I’m orthodontic assistant. I recently moved here from Calgary, but I’m officially a Cape Bretoner. I joined the Dr. McManaman Smile Team - you know show your pearly whites and receive a complimentary smile back and my chance to remark on the amazing transformation of your teeth. It feels great to see the transformation! When not at work, I enjoy taking in the fresh air and sunshine and all that nature has to offer. I also enjoy big smiles from my son Tyler when I tell him I'm going to bake a couple of his favorite sweets.
Rachel Hennesey – Orthodontic Assistant
Hello, My name is Rachel Hennessey and I have been a member of the "Smile Team" since August 2009. I am originally from the Moncton area, and have just recently moved back after spending 3 and a half years in Calgary, AB. I am extremely happy to be home again and very excited to be working with Dr. McManaman and his wonderful team. I have felt at home since day one and could not ask for a better crew to work with. I have been working in orthodontics for 3 years now and I absolutely love it. Having had braces myself as a young teenager I understand not only the esthetic improvements that happen, but have experienced for myself the change in confidence and overall boost in self esteem that comes from having a great smile. I find my job very rewarding and consider it a privilege to be a part of this team. I enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with my family, I love sports (especially baseball), and I am very attached to my beautiful 2 year old black lab Myah.
Nancy MacLeod – Orthodontic Assistant

Hi, my name is Nancy and I am proud to be part of the Smile Team. I have almost thirty years’ experience being an orthodontic assistant and treatment coordinator. I enjoy establishing a rapport with our patients and providing plenty of care and support. I have a B.A. in Psychology and, most recently, obtained a Diploma in Human Resources from the University of Prince Edward Island. On the weekends, I love to ski and take my grandson to the beach.

Carmen Leger – Patient Service Coordinator
Hello, my name is Carmen Leger. I have just recently joined Dr. McManaman's Smile Team (August 2009) and everyone has made me feel very welcome. I feel very lucky to have found my "dream job" after working in the sales industry for 15 years. I enjoy interacting with people on a daily basis and being a part of the changes taking place. I am married with 2 children, Curtis 8, and Robyn 6. My husband Mike and I spend a lot of 'fun time' with our kids as both of them are involved in sports and community activities. I enjoy reading, yard work and relaxing with my family.
Tracy Turner – Patient Service Coordinator

I recently joined the team as a Patient Service Coordinator (September 2009) and I am thrilled and eager to be the newest addition to Dr. McManaman’s energetic ‘Smile Team’.
